NON-TOURING

Glowing skin and no-makeup makeup are set to advance in 2020, with contoured faces making way for the return of 2015 and 2016’s soft strobing and ‘non-touring’ dewiness.

THE EUPHORIA EFFECT

As proven by numerous runways at New York Fashion Week in September 2019, the Euphoria effect is expected to continue its reign well into 2020. Prepare to see more bedazzled eyes with graphic lines and candy pastels across lids and cheeks.

SIXTIES-STYLE NEON EYELINER

Running parallel to the Euphoria effect, ’60s-style winged eyeliner made a neon splash on the spring/summer 2020 runways, appearing in the shows of Helmut Lang (pictured here), Versace and Nicole Miller, among others.

BOLD VINYL LIPS

While striking lips are always de rigueur, expect 2020’s iteration to take on a vibrant vinyl effect. Endorsed by some of the world’s biggest fashion houses, the high-shine lacquer look was seen on the runways of Sies Marjan (pictured here), Off-White and Louis Vuitton.
